WomenOn an island of Udo, located in South Korea, women have for over 1700 years adapted to a way of life that to most of us would seem most strange. These unique individuals are called ‘Sea Women’. As of 2003, 5,650 are registered to do this unique work. 85% of them are over 50 years of age and they have a real passion for what they do. They work without standard scuba gear and are considered among the world’s most skillful and toughest natural divers.
